Most folks are familiar with the traditional form of cruise dining…rush to get reservations, or choose a set time that you dine every night (often times, very early or very late).

Norwegian Cruise Lines offers “Freestyle Dining”, which means no fixed dining times and no pre-assigned seating. 

Something important to note – This is specifically for the Main Dining Rooms; you still need reservations at the specialty dining restaurants, but you are able to make them for any time you’d like. So it is still very flexible!

And that being said, the Main Dining Rooms on the Norwegian Ships are some of the most beautiful that I have ever seen!

Freestyle Dining is part of a more relaxed, simple way of cruising with Norwegian Cruise Lines.
