The Beaches Resort in Turks and Caicos is absolutely one of the most popular family resorts in the Caribbean. The beautiful white sand beach, incredible family activities, children’s programming, food, water park, and of course the level of service at this magnificent resort really push it over the top.
There are 4 different “Villages” at this Resort, and for good reason, a few are more popular than the others. But today I’m going to focus on one of the older Villages, the “French Village”.
If you look at it on a map, it might seem a bit farther back from the beach. But trust me, it’s a very short walk! Because the French Village is tucked away, it was much quieter than any of the other villages. This would be a great spot for adults!
The location is also perfect if you want to be near the water park, as it is right next door.
Nightly entertainment is available, plenty of dining options, and you can easily walk or shuttle to the other Villages all over the Resort.
The room we were in was perfect – tile floor, good sized split bathroom with 2 sinks and very comfortable beds. We had a walkout room on the first floor, with a great view of the pool. The fridge was stocked with soda and juice, and plenty if water, and there was a coffee maker available in the room. I was sharing a room with a colleague, and we had plenty of room with 2 double beds.
The French Village may not seem like your obvious first choice, but don’t underestimate this charming section of the spectacular Beaches Resort.
